Maxwelton Fourth of July Parade

Celebrating our neighbors and country for more than 100 years

The Maxwelton Parade is at noon on July 4th. It’s a short but beloved community tradition at Maxwelton Beach on South Whidbey Island, Washington.

There is no charge to attend or to register a parade entry. But we do ask everyone to buy a colorful souvenir button for $1 because that helps to cover our costs, along with donations from our wonderful community sponsors and Maxwelton Community Club members.

We have a food booth with simple fare, and a set of fun games after the parade.

Each year’s souvenir button is designed by a young person connected to the community, and it’s always a surprise until that day! Visit our button table to purchase buttons from this and past years.

Our Sponsors

The Maxwelton Community Club would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of our generous sponsors who are helping to make this year's 4th of July parade a success. Their contributions allow us to provide a fun and safe event for our community to come together and celebrate our nation's independence. We appreciate their dedication to supporting our community and helping to make it an even better place to live. Thank you once again for your generosity and support!
